چکیده

Abstract This review paper addresses the development of numerical modeling electromagnetic fields in geophysics with a focus on recent finite element simulation. It discusses ways estimating errors our solutions for perfectly matched domain and problems that arise from its insufficient representation. After brief outline early methods approaches, mainly capabilities method formulated unstructured grids advantages local h-refinement allowing both flexible largely accurate representation geometries multi-scale geomaterial an evaluation underlying functions representing physical fields. In summary, accuracy solution depends geometric mapping, choice mathematical model, spatial discretization. Although available error estimators do not necessarily provide reliable bounds complex geomodels, they are still useful to guide grid refinement. Therefore, overview most common posteriori is given. will be shown sensitivity important function guiding mapping

Modeling of Weld Bead Geometry Using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) in Additive Manufacturing

Additive Manufacturing describes the technologies that can produce a physical model out of a computer model with a layer-by-layer production process. Additive Manufacturing technologies, as compared to traditional manufacturing methods, have the high capability of manufacturing the complex components using minimum energy and minimum consumption. These technologies have brought about the possibi...

Error Modeling in Distribution Network State Estimation Using RBF-Based Artificial Neural Network

State estimation is essential to access observable network models for online monitoring and analyzing of power systems. Due to the integration of distributed energy resources and new technologies, state estimation in distribution systems would be necessary. However, accurate input data are essential for an accurate estimation along with knowledge on the possible correlation between the real and...

Adaptive Language Modeling Using Minimum Discriminant Estimation

We present an algorithm to adapt a n-gram language model to a document as it is dictated. The observed partial document is used to estimate a unigram distribution for the words that already occurred. Then, we find the closest n-gram distribution to the static n.gram distribution (using the discrimination information distance measure) and that satisfies the marginal constraints derived from the ...
